About the Easter camp
The camp takes place during the Easter holidays and is available for all age groups from U12 to Junior. The training is well suited for those coming straight from the ATC Tignes camp or as a stand alone Easter camp arriving directly from another country. The training atmosphere is focused but relaxed and we have lots of fun with little pressure or race schedule to worry about. The on-hill coaching offers young athletes the chance to make gains and get better technically with little or no distractions. Down off the mountain the weather is more like summer so we are normally out biking, swimming and hill walking cooling off after a hard day up the hill. There is equipment available to try and test so if you need stiffer boots or longer skis then this is the time to test and see what works.
We recommend that under 12s be accompanied by their parents if this is their first camp with ATC. For those not living in with ATC, Coaches will send out a message each night letting parents know the plan for the next day as to where and when to meet.
All our coaches are nationally or internationally qualified. Olympian and ex National Team coach Sean Langmuir leads the coaching team for the Bormio camp. ATC coaches are Meghan Costello U16, Sofia Morton U14, Andrew Freshwater U12.
