Team ATC is an intensive Alpine training programme for young athletes aged 12 to 17 years old. The structure and coaching maximises training and racing during the school holidays. We offer the these selected racers smaller coach to athletes ratios and world class coaching. The Team ATC programme accelerates progress and offers a clear pathway from Under 12 year through to and including FIS age Junior athletes.
Over the years this programme has produced some of Britain’s best young talent and many young racers have represented Team GB on the international stage.
We offer Team ATC athletes some additional Edu-weeks during the winter where school aged racers can keep up with school work while race training during school term.
Sean Langmuir and Andy Freshwater lead the Team ATC race programme. Both are Olympians and have coached at the highest level in the sport. Our lead coaches are Meghan Costello U16 and Sofia Morton U14 who are both nationally and internationally qualified. They have a wealth of knowledge and coaching experience. Most importantly they are particularly skilled at developing, challenging and improving performance. Oh and also having a great time!
ATC is a not for profit organisation with charity status. We offer financial support by reducing the weekly fees for Team ATC racers. ATC work closely with the Alpine community and many of our sponsors have close ties and history with ski racing and the mountains. We share a common vision that racing and training with ATC provides a effective and fun vehicle to help create talented ski racers and amazing people.
